Organizations that are staffed for the most part by volunteers can reap phenomenal benefits from the act of bringing their organization online. Ponca City Soccer Inc has long been an Oklahoma Pioneer of the online organization and is currently undergoing a website (and application) redesign that will unite the Soccer Club's community with the administration, free of the boundaries and constraints imposed by the volunteer organization killer: time.

Imagine setting your monthly board meeting date to simply "March" instead of "March 28th". Attendance improves, participation improves, input increases, input from a broader variety of community members. Community based web applications allow just that in addition to steering the burden of support away from the volunteers and toward the community itself.

In addition to the community related features, this robust web application includes Content Management System (CMS) components that help the Club manage match scheduling, club documents, events (calendar), news reporting (several areas for different user groups) and photos

As the CMS provides the administrative function and the community based features brings the community together with the administration, an underlying content subscription system provides the ability for community members to receive update notices via email, and an advertising system is in place to leverage the active community as a source of income for the club.
